YardSmartMarin empowers people to reduce / eliminate pesticide use through awareness and education about safer, effective alternatives.
We’re working to create a sustainable organization that provides easily accessible, multi-lingual information about safer alternatives to pesticide use in the home and work environment.
Who are we?
In 2019 YardSmartMarin became a fiscally sponsored project of MarinLink, a California nonprofit corporation exempt from federal tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue, Service #20-0879422.
Started in 2016 as a public-private coalition for outreach and education, the coalition included individuals representing a wide range of organizations and perspectives from around Marin.
What do we do?
We aim to be the one stop, quick resource for safer alternatives to using pesticides.
Whether it’s in the yard or inside your house, our website is here to offer a solution in just one or two clicks of the mouse / taps on the phone.
